Established since 1989 and located in Quebec city (QC), CHUCK Electronique is owned and operated by Charles A. Gilbert who has acquired a well renowned reputation as a professional technician in the business of guitar tube amplifier service, repair and custom modification. Being himself an accomplished guitar player, he decided in 1997 to design a line of guitar tube amps marketed under the registered trademark name of CHUCKTRONIC

CHUCKTRONIC™ offers his own line of high quality tube guitar amplifiers for the amateur and discerning professional guitarist. Each amp is entirely handcrafted from start to finish with attention to every detail and there is no compromise on the design, the tone circuitry, parts selection and cabinet construction. To answer one of the most usual questions asked; these amplifiers are not copies but rather new innovative designs engineered from qualities taken from circuits of early 60's classic amps such as small Ampeg combos with their sweet class A compression, and involving improvements inspired from some of their flaws like the lack of mids known to most Fender amps tone stack.

Each and every amp share the same basic recipe for great tone: headroom emphasis, tight bass, juicy mids and ringing highs. These top quality amps are built to last a lifetime and will allow a wide tonal versatility to play blues, country, rock or else.

One satisfied customer comment:

"At every venue, the amp with its boutique look and its tone just as distinctively high class, always brings questions by those with a fine ear. The dynamic response to playing subtleties and transition between clean and overdriven is so smooth that it becomes an integral part of my playing. I could not achieve the same comfort zone of expression with any other amp. Finally, the portability of this amp makes a winning combination beyond my expectations without compromising on both volume level and sound quality. -  Bob Kohl ©2008
